We’re Richie and Caitlin, the husband-and-wife duo behind We Deux Farm. We’re all about love, simplicity, and creating a space where your big day feels as special, and as stress-free, as it should be.

Our story? Coming from complicated family dynamics, we decided to skip the stress of a big wedding and elope. We had a really hard time finding exactly what we were looking for all in one place: an officiant, a witness, a place to stay, and a beautiful place to tie the knot. Once we gathered all the pieces together, we got married on our own, and celebrated afterwards with our family and friends in a laid-back way that felt best for us.

It was the best decision we ever made, and now we’re on a mission to give other couples the chance to say “I do” in a way that’s personal, intimate, and 100% you. We are taking the guesswork out of the logistics of eloping, and making it simple and fun.

Nestled right here in the beautiful Grass Valley, California foothills, our venue is a little slice of heaven designed with care. It’s perfect for couples who crave a private, peaceful vibe, free from all the noise (both literal and metaphorical) of big, traditional weddings

Picture this: your wedding day, totally stress-free and overflowing with love, laughter, and the freedom to do things your way. When you arrive, you’ll step into a dreamy setting of majestic redwoods, wildflowers, furry farm friends, and a vibe that feels like pure magic.

Settle in and start getting ready at your own pace. Bring your photographer (or meet them here) to capture the sweetest moments, including a first look if you’d like. Whether it’s under the trees, with the blooms, or above our spring-fed pond, you’ll have the perfect backdrop for your "I do’s."

When the moment comes, our officiant will guide you through a heartfelt, custom ceremony tailored to your love story. Vows are exchanged, toast is poured, and you’ll soak in the joy of the moment.

Afterward, it’s time for photos and exploring the property at your own pace before your dinner reservation, including extra time with the farm animals for photos!

Then, unwind in true style. Watch an outdoor movie under the stars, roast marshmallows by the fire pit, or soak in the outdoor tubs. Sip on wine and snack on complimentary treats from our favorite local farms as the perfect end to your day.

Situated on 9 rolling acres in the rural countryside of Grass Valley, California, this property is a true refuge from the city. The air is clear, the grass is green, and the pond adds true natural beauty to the landscape.

With goats, cows, livestock guardian dogs, and cats taking residence, each with a job on the farm. They eat down brush and grass, protect the animals and secure the border, and take care of pests.

Plans for the property include total farm permaculture design, incorporating native plants and sustainable farming practices.

The property is host to our fully renovated farm stay in our gorgeous blue Victorian Farmhouse. Inside, you will find a stocked tea apothecary, hidden indoor sauna, and full library.
